23) Chapter: Regarding Allah's Statement: It Is Not Permitted For You To Inherity Women Against Their Will... And Do Not Prevent Them From Re-Marrying

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Al Dahhak to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. This version has Allaah prohibited that (practice).

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَبُّويَةَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فَوَعَظَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏
