11) Chapter: Struggling for an opinion when passing judgements
Mu'adh bin Jabal said that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent him to the Yemen... He then narrated the rest of the tradition to the same effect.
11) باب اجْتِهَادِ الرَّأْىِ فِي الْقَضَاءِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ نَاسٍ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمَّا بَعَثَهُ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ .
