171) Chapter: Actions During The Prayer

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was praying with his door bolted. I came and asked to have the door opened. He walked and opened the door for me. He then returned to his place for prayer. He (the narrator Urwah) mentioned that the door faced the qiblah.

171) باب الْعَمَلِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَمُسَدَّدٌ، - وَهَذَا لَفْظُهُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُفَضَّلِ - حَدَّثَنَا بُرْدٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ أَحْمَدُ - يُصَلِّي وَالْبَابُ عَلَيْهِ مُغْلَقٌ فَجِئْتُ فَاسْتَفْتَحْتُ - قَالَ أَحْمَدُ - فَمَشَى فَفَتَحَ لِي ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى مُصَلاَّهُ ‏.‏ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ الْبَابَ كَانَ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ ‏.‏
