It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw
‘Umaw
wearing a white shirt and he said:
“Is this garment of yours
washed
or a new one?” He said: “Rather it has been washed.” He said:
“Ilbas jadida, wa ‘ish hamida, wa mut shahida (May you wear new
clothes, live a good life and die as martyr).”
