12) Chapter: Returning (the greeting of) peace
It was narrated from Abu Salamah that 'Aishah told him that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said to her:
"Jibrail send (greetings of) Salam to you." She said: "Wa 'alahisalam wa rahmatullah (and upon him be peace and mercy of Allah)."
12) باب رَدِّ السَّلاَمِ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ لَهَا . قَالَتْ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ . " إِنَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ "
