46) Chapter: Giving to those whose hearts have been inclined (towards Islam) and urging those whose faith is strong to show patience
This hadith has been narrated by Sa'id with the same chain of transmitters, but no mention has been made of Alqama b. 'Ulatha, nor of safwin b. Umayya, and he did not mention the verse in his hadith.
46) باب إِعْطَاءِ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ وَتَصَبُّرِ مَنْ قَوِيَ إِيمَانُهُ
وَحَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي الْحَدِيثِ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنَ عُلاَثَةَ وَلاَ صَفْوَانَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الشِّعْرَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ.
