14) Chapter: What should be done with a Muhrim if he dies?

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) reported that there was a person in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace' be upon him) whose camel broke his neck and he died. thereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said:

Wash him, but do not apply perfume and do not cover his face, for he would be raised (on the Day of Resurrection) pronouncing Talbiya.

14) باب مَا يُفْعَلُ بِالْمُحْرِمِ إِذَا مَاتَ ‏

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، - رضى الله عنهما - قَالَ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ فَوَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏‏ ‏.‏ "‏ اغْسِلُوهُ وَلاَ تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا وَلاَ تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُلَبِّي ‏"
