This hadith has been reported by Zuhri on the authority of Malik, and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Sufyan (the words are):

" He would enter into Fire, except for the fulfilment of the oath."

47) باب فَضْلِ مَنْ يَمُوتُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ ‏ ‏

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، وَابْنُ، رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏.‏ بِإِسْنَادِ مَالِكٍ وَبِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِهِ إِلاَّ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ ‏‏ ‏.‏ "‏ فَيَلِجَ النَّارَ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ ‏"
