20. The Chapters on Legal Punishments - كتاب الحدود
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees.”
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . " لاَ قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلاَ كَثَرٍ "
