We were forbidden (to eat) the flesh of the domestic asses.

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، يَقُولُ نُهِينَا عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ، ‏.‏
