Verse 103

Translation:

103. No vision can grasp Him but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension yet is acquainted with all things.

Notes (Tafseer):

931. Latif: fine, subtle, so fine and subtle as to be invisible to the physical eye; so fine as to be imperceptiable to the senses; figuratively, so pure as to be above the mental or spiritual vision of ordinary men. The active meaning should also be understood: 'One who understands the finest mysteries': Cf. xxii. 63, and n. 2844.
