Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)

Verse 49

Translation:

49. Lo! the hypocrites say and those in whose hearts is a disease: "these people--their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah behold! Allah is Exalted in might Wise.

Notes (Tafseer):

1218. Cf. ii. 10 "disease in the heart." Trust in Allah brings its own reward: our eyes are opened, and we see how great, good, and wise is the Cherisher of the Worlds. Others may sneer and despise. But the blessing of Allah keeps our minds fresh and our hearts contented.
